The Golden State Warriors and Adidas unveiled a new lightweight uniform for the team Monday February 11, 2013. Three members of the Warriors, (l-r): Clay Thompson, Jarrett Jack and Harrison Barnes showed off the new short sleeve look. The two new entries - a redesigned “The Bay” jersey and an updated version of the original “San Francisco” jersey - will be added to these rankings after we see them worn in a game.

We’ve left out limited edition uniforms that were never in steady rotation, such as the Christmas jersey and excellent Chinese New Year jerseys. With the Warriors earlier this month announcing new jerseys for their Chase Center debut, here is every major jersey worn by the Golden State Warriors, ranked. The Warriors have featured two different bridges, the state of California, an oak tree and a thunderbolt on the front of their jerseys over the years, each with wildly varying levels of nostalgic value. (Sorry gold satin 49ers jacket and Levi’s 501 jeans …)īut the rankings from No. The City was designed by former owner Franklin Mieuli, debuted in 1966, and became perhaps the most beloved garment in San Francisco history. We won’t even pretend that this article ranking the Warriors jerseys is going to contain suspense when it comes to the No. It would take a special kind of contrarian troll - hard to find even in the world of sports criticism - to express a negative take about the Warriors “The City” jersey.
